SAVE ACT

If the SAVE Act passes in May, anyone whose name does not match their birth certificate will have significant challenges casting their votes, if they are allowed to at all. NOW is the time to act as if the bill has been passed in order to protect the elections. Get your documents in order!

They say they will accept other documents, however they also will jail election workers who allow people to vote without the required documents.

Some of these documents take a significant amount of time. 6 months in a normal year will almost certainly be longer now, with over 69 married women, along with trans people, and anyone else who has changed their names over the years all changing and ordering documents at the same time with a reduced staff working in government.

Now is the time. May will be too late.
